About Us
We are two Church of England (Anglican) parishes in the Sevenoaks Deanery. St. Katharine’s and St. Margaret’s came together in 1983 as a United Benefice under one parish priest. Our pattern of services reflects the fact that we are two parishes working closely together.
We seek to be simple, parish churches in lively village settings, here to minister to each and every person who lives in Knockholt, Halstead and Badgers Mount. We seek to teach the faith of Jesus Christ as explained in the Bible and to draw people closer to our God who created us and who loves us with a passion.
We have many activities and church-related groups and fellowships which you can read about elsewhere on this website. As we live in an often over-busy part of the world we also seek to live sensibly and in a balanced and spiritual way; offering a Christian perspective on how to live and flourish as human beings filled with the very Spirit of God. We do not claim to be perfect and simply seek to do our best with the time and talents God has given to us.
